Your suggestions of places to visit

Craster - Lovely coastal village famous for Craster Kippers

Tynemouth - Historic coastal town with Priory and good choice of eating establishments

Whitley Bay - Seaside resort popular with our friends from North of the border. Home of "The Spanish City" immortalised in Mark Knopfler's "Romeo and Juliet"

"Girl you look so pretty to me, like you always did. Like the Spanish City to me, when we were kids"

Recommended Italian Restaurant "PREGO"  (Which I think means "you're welcome" in Italian)

SeahousesCoastal village with great fish and chips and access to boats to take you to the Farne Islands - You may see dolphins (unlikely) seals (likely) puffins (quite likely) on your way out. (We can't promise any of them). There is a good play area if you have a child around the age of 7 months or so "BUNKER"
